The co-epidemic of Hepatitis C (HCV) has challenged our ability to meet the needs of people living with HIV/AIDS. Many of the individuals we serve are co-infected with both HIV and HCV and find it difficult to find the support and information that they need to preserve their health and prevent disease progression. The HIV/HCV Awareness Program was developed to close this gap by offering one-on-one assessment to examine barriers to care and to provide referral and support before, during and after treatment. This support includes an HCV support group.
We also offer limited services to people infected with only HCV. Please call for more information.
The DragonSlayers Support Group is available to those infected/affected by Hepatitis C and/or coninfected with HIV. Participants meet every other Tuesday at Trinity Memorial Church in Binghamton NY.
