tment education program is designed to help people living with HIV or AIDS to understand, manage, and navigate the complicated treatment options available today.
We offer one-on-one and group sessions with a medical advocate staff member to discuss HIV treatment, current medications, and side effect management options. Medical advocates can also help individuals living with HIV to learn how to talk with their medical providers, how to address the complicated issue of HIV disclosure, and important secondary prevention options.
We also provide educational programs on treatment information for individuals living with HIV and for interested health and human services providers.
