SISTA (Sisters Informing Sisters on Topics about AIDS)
This is a peer-led group designed for African American women.
Five peer-led group sessions cover the topics of: ethnic and gender pride, information about HIV and sexual risk reduction, condom negotiation and decision making skills, as well as communication and assertiveness training.
RAPP (Real AIDS Prevention Project)
This is a community-level program designed to reduce risk for HIV and unintended pregnancy by increasing condom use. Peer-led outreach activities, networking in the community, condom distribution, and safer-sex discussions help raise community awareness, promote access to safer sex supplies and connect individuals with resources for further information and HIV/STI testing.
